The half-milestone near Domnitz is a small monument in the town of Wettin-Löbejün in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

To the east of Neutz, there are various stones to delimit the parking lot at Landgasthof Sattelhof at Landesstraße 50 (former Bundesstraße 6 ), one of which was identified as the remnant of a Prussian half-mile stone that was verifiably still on the curve at Chausseehaus Domnitz in the ditch in 1979. Therefore the stone is named after this place, even if it is now in the corridor of Neutz-Lettewitz .

The milestones along the first Chaussee from Magdeburg via Halle (Saale) to Leipzig are important evidence of the construction of the highway and the Prussian state, as they show the will to promote trade by creating better connections between the cities. This first major road construction project in Prussia had to struggle with a number of difficulties and therefore lasted from 1788 to 1801. The milestones between Bernburg and Halle are mostly dated to around 1800. Since the road led through the Duchy of Magdeburg, these are called old milestones Magdeburg type .

The almost 50 centimeter high stone is a listed building and is recorded in the monument register with the number 094 56045. It was probably originally placed on a base plate, similar to the quarter milestone at Lettewitz . The neighboring quarter milestone of Domnitz is considered missing, was located southeast of Domnitz between the whole milestone of Nauendorf and this half milestone and was still documented in the 1980s.
