Melanie Pfeifer (born August 25, 1986 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German canoeist who competes in the canoe slalom .

At the European Canoe Slalom Championships in Nottingham in 2009 Melanie Pfeifer took fourth place in the individual ranking and received the bronze medal with the team. The following year she won the European title with the team in Čunovo , and at the world championships in the same year she received the silver medal in the team competition. In 2011 she and the team received the bronze medal at the World Championships . In 2012, the European Championships took place on their home track in Augsburg, Pfeifer won the title with the team and took second place in the individual standings. Two years later she also received silver in the individual competition at the European Championships in Vienna, with the team she took fourth place in Vienna. At the 2014 World Championships on Deep Creek Lake in Maryland , Melanie Pfeifer took third place in the individual standings, and with the team she finished fifth. In 2015 the European Championships took place in Markkleeberg , the German team took eighth place, and Melanie Pfeifer came ninth in the individual ranking.
