Melanie Wolf (* 1980 in Berlin as Melanie Wannmacher ) is a German dancer , singer and entrepreneur.

Life

Wolf completed eight years of training at the State Ballet School in Berlin . After graduating as a state-recognized stage dancer, her first engagement was at the Cottbus State Theater from 1998 to 2000 . From 2000 to 2003 she danced with the German TV Ballet of the MDR . From January 2004 to January 2013 Melanie Wolf was the first soloist with the German Show Ballet Berlin . In February 2013 she returned to the German TV Ballet as the first soloist .

Melanie Wolf danced in over 350 television productions, including 68 episodes of the Eurovision show Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel , in 18 episodes of the Eurovision show Feste der Volksmusik with Carmen Nebel, in the Eurovision show Feste der Volksmusik with Florian Silbereisen, in Wetten, dass ..? , in the ZDF anniversary show “50 Years of ZDF” and the “José Carreras Gala” on ARD. Melanie Wolf has made guest appearances at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Paris Moulin Rouge , among others .

Wolf has also been an entrepreneur since 2012. She took over the event organization and artist management at the German TV Ballet .

Melanie Wolf has been a singer since 2017. Together with Kerstin Merlin she forms the singing duo Rotblond . The first television appearance of Melanie Wolf and Kerstin Merlin as the duo Rotblond was on March 25th, 2017 in the ARD show "Schlagercountdown - The big premiere party" with Florian Silbereisen .

On October 14, 2017, the MDR honored the German TV Ballet on the occasion of the 55th anniversary with "The great show of long legs, part 2". In it Melanie Wolf celebrated her farewell as a dancer.

Wolf lives in Berlin and has been married to artist manager and television producer Peter Wolf since July 2011 .
