The Meloria is a floating crane from the Livorno- based Neri Group , which, in addition to all types of towing services, also carries out rescue operations and has various special ships for this purpose.
The Meloria platform serves as a universal working platform; it is equipped with a platform lattice boom crane and has a work area of around 400 m² as well as quarters for the crew and the generators and pumps required to operate the platform. As is usual with crane platforms, the Meloria does not have its own drive, but is moved to the site by tugs .
Surname
