Menoitius (son of the actor)
Menoitios ( Greek Μενοίτιος "destroyed strength", Latinized Menoetius ) is in Greek mythology a son of the actor and Aigina and lives in the Locrian opus . He is the father of Patroclus , Achilles' companion .
Menoitios takes part in the Argonauts voyage. He is a friend of Heracles and founds his cult in Opus.
