Menzel Bouzaiane or Menzel Bouzaïenne ( Arabic منزل بوزيان) is a place in the center of Tunisia with around 6,000 inhabitants. It is located about 250 kilometers south of the capital Tunis and 60 kilometers south of the governorate capital Sidi Bouzid on Route Nationale 14, which leads from Meknessi to Gafsa .
During the 2010/2011 revolution in Tunisia , it was the starting point for the "Caravan of Liberation" demonstration on January 22, 2011 .
