The M 200 is a gasoline engine from Mercedes-Benz that came onto the market in June 2013 in the Mercedes-Benz Citan as the Citan 112 BlueEFFICIENCY . The four-cylinder in - line engine is based on the H5Ft aggregate developed by Renault with the sales designation Energy TCe 115 .

The M 200 has a displacement of 1192 cm³ and direct injection with 6-hole injection nozzles. It is equipped with four-valve technology , variable valve control , two overhead camshafts, a regulated oil pump and a turbocharger integrated into the exhaust manifold .
To reduce internal friction , both piston skirts and rocker arms have a special carbon layer ( DLC: Diamond-Like Carbon ). A hydraulically tensioned, low-friction timing chain is also used.
The crankcase and cylinder head are made of aluminum. With a 72 mm bore and 73.2 mm stroke, the motor has a stroke ratio of 0.98. The output is specified as 84 kW (114 hp) at 4500 rpm and the torque as 190 Nm at 2000 to 4000 rpm.
