Meschyritschtschja (Ukrainian Межиріччя - until 1940 Пархач / Parchatsch , 1940–1941 and 1944–1947 Шевченкове / Shevchenko ; Russian Межиречье / Mezhiretschje , Polish capital of Laskov , about 56 kilometers to the north of the village capital of Laskov , and about 56 kilometers south of Parchaczraine , the capital of Poland and about 56 kilometers to the north of the western capital of Lviv Sokal located at the confluence of the Rata and the Bug . The village of Bendjuha (Бендюга) also belongs to the district council of the same name .

The place already existed in the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania and was initially in the Bełz Voivodeship as part of the aristocratic republic of Poland . It then belonged to Austrian Galicia from 1772 to 1918 , came to Poland after the end of the First World War (in the Lviv , Powiat Sokal, Gmina Parchacz), was part of the Soviet Union from September 1939 to the summer of 1941 during the Second World War , then until 1944 occupied by Germany . It has been part of the Ukrainian SSR since 1944 and has been part of today's Ukraine since 1991.

On January 10, 1940, the place was renamed Shevchenko and at the same time made the capital of the Rajon Shevchenko district , but this was dissolved in September 1940 and added to the Radechiv Rajon . After the end of the Second World War, the importance of the place decreased significantly.
