The Messepark Trier is a trade fair and event site in the independent city of Trier in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is located in the Moselle floodplains to the left of the Moselle on the Trier-Euren district on federal roads 49 and 51 and on the Konrad-Adenauer bridge . The distance to the city center of Trier is three kilometers, to the main train station four kilometers and to the motorway junction A 602 five kilometers. The Luxembourg airport is 48 km away and the Frankfurt-Hahn airport 69 km. A total of 1900 parking spaces are located directly at the exhibition park, which are also used as park-and-ride parking spaces.

The exhibition and event area has a size of 40,000 m² and the exhibition hall has a size of 2750 m². The exhibition hall has a capacity of 2920 seats or 4500 standing places.

After about 36 months of construction, the site was opened on July 1, 1993. The cost of the construction project amounted to 12.7 million euros. The exhibition hall and the outbuildings were built between 1996 and 1999.

The MVG Trier Messe- und Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH (MVG Trier for short) is the operating company of the municipal venues Arena Trier , Messepark Trier and Europahalle Trier .
