The Metal Enterprises label first made a name for itself as a metal label, before it became popular in 1987 through the success of various Böhsen Onkelz releases . After the Böhsen Onkelz switched to Bellaphon Records , the distributor of the independent label at the time, after the album Es ist So far (1991) , the owner Ingo Nowotny tried to earn more money with them for a day by compiling Könige . The compilation remained the only release of the label that could place in the music charts. It reached number 16 in the Austrian charts . After the departure of the Böhsen Onkelz, Nowotny tried to establish himself in the rapidly growing right-wing rock market.
Another special feature of the label were albums that did not come from the original bands, but were released under their names. Studio musicians recorded these releases. Affected were Killer Fox, Thrash Queen and Godzilla , among others . Particularly noteworthy here is Kahlkopf , whose last work III was published on the Nowotny's Noize sub-label . Nowotny let Daniel Giese , better known under the name "Gigi" and at that time with Saccara , continue the band .
The first publication is always given. Later re-releases, new editions or CD editions were not taken into account. The publications are sorted by serial number.
