Mia Kasalo (* 2003 in Berlin ) is a young German actress .

Life

Mia Kasalo was born in Berlin, her mother comes from Croatia . Kasalo began acting at the age of five. She names Katharina Thalbach as her role model. Since then she has worked in a number of television productions, among others in an episode of the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar and alongside Jan Josef Liefers in the ARD two-part series Der Turm . In 2016 she played a leading role in the movie Amelie rennt , which premiered in 2017 at the 67th Berlinale . In 2017 she was the leading actress in the ZDF television series Das Pubertier .

Mia Kasalo lives in Berlin and attends a school in the Kreuzberg district . In addition to German, she speaks Serbo-Croatian .
