The metropolitan region of Santarém , in Portuguese Região Metropolitana de Santarém , is a metropolitan region in the Brazilian state of Pará . It was established by law on January 17, 2012 and is based in the city of Santarém . It consists of the cities of Santarém, Belterra and Mojuí dos Campos .
