Mette Sjøberg (born April 19, 1982 in Vejle , Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player .
Sjøberg made 85 international appearances for Denmark , scoring 262 goals. In 2004 she took second place with Denmark at the European Championships .
In 2006, the backcourt player moved from Horsens HK to FCK Håndbold , where she was the top scorer of the Danish Toms Ligaen in the 2006/07 season with 167 goals. In the summer of 2008 Sjøberg left FCK and played the next two seasons at FC Midtjylland Håndbold . After taking a year off, Sjøberg signed a contract with KIF Vejen in the summer of 2011 . After the 2012/13 season, she ended her career there.
