Mewo Choron ( Hebrew מְבוֹא חוֹרוֹן) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank . The settlement belongs to the Mateh Benjamin regional administration and lies with Latrun and Modi'in . In 2017 Mewo Choron had 2589 inhabitants.

The place, founded in 1970, is named after Choron, an old biblical city that was strategically located on the Gibeon- Ayalon ( Schefela ) road and is mentioned in the Old Testament , mainly in Jos 10.10  EU and Jos 16.3  EU . The Chasdei Enosh Synagogue ( Hebrew בֵּית הַכְּנֶסֶת חַסְדֵי אֱנוֹשׁ), a replica of the Terborg synagogue in Mewo Choron, was inaugurated on June 7, 2018.
