Mia "Whippy" Löfgren (born August 3, 1976 in Ånge ) is a Swedish pop singer .

Career

Löfgren joined Rednex in 2000 . With her Rednex started a big comeback with the hits The Way I Mate , Spirit of the Hawk and Hold Me for a While . In 2001 Mia started a solo career. Her first single, Superstar , reached number four on the Swedish charts.

In 2003 she took part in the Swedish TV music competition Fame Factory and reached second place in the final. From 2002 to January 2007 Mia sang as the front woman for the band Merrygold . She left the group to start a solo career.
