geography
Miamiville is located between the city of Milford in the southwest of the township and the census-designated place Mulberry in the center. Further north is part of Loveland , also in Miami Township. Miamiville is part of the greater Cincinnati area .
Instead of the railway line that used to connect Milford and Xenia , there is now a cycle path through Miamiville. This stretch is officially called Little Miami State Park , also called Little Miami Scenic Park because of the combination of the State Park and the National Wild and Scenic River . The bike path is called the Little Miami Bike Trail or Little Miami Scenic Trail . Most of the bike path runs along the banks of the Little Miami River, which makes an S-shaped loop at Miamiville. A wooden bridge enables the river to be crossed here. If you come from the north on the left side of the river in the direction of Milford through Miamiville, you can cross this bridge to reach Camp Dennison, which played an important role as a rehearsal and training camp for the troops of the northern states during the Civil War . A museum room has been set up here.
