Michał Kabaciński (born April 4, 1988 in Lublin ) is a former Polish politician of the Twój Ruch party and a member of parliament from 2011 to 2015.

Life

Michał Kabaciński grew up in Lublin. His father was a diplomat and now works for the Polish Domestic Intelligence Service ( ABW ), his mother worked in the administration of a Lublin hospital. After graduating from high school, he began to study law at the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin, which he completed in 2012 with a master's degree.

In October 2010 he began to be active in the then new Twój Ruch party (formerly Ruch Palikota - Palikots movement ) and two months later became its regional leader. In spring 2015 he became press spokesman.

In the 2011 parliamentary elections he received 6,984 votes and was able to win a seat for the Sejm . At the age of 23, he was the youngest member of this parliamentary term. In the EU elections in 2014 he ran unsuccessfully for the left-liberal electoral alliance Europa Plus , and in the parliamentary elections in October 2015 his party missed re-entry into the Sejm.

On December 15, 2015, Kabaciński announced that he was leaving the party. He says he wants to set up his own PR and marketing company.
