Life

Michael Alder, the priest's son who grew up in the canton of Basel-Landschaft , completed an apprenticeship as a structural draftsman before completing his architecture studies at the Technikum Luzern in 1965. In 1969 he founded his own architectural office, from 1987 Alder & Partner, since 1994 in a studio with Hanspeter Müller and Roland Naegelin .
