Michael Ambrosovszky
Michael Ambrosovszky , Hungarian Mihály Ambrosovszky , (born April 17, 1702 in Galanta , † February 1, 1792 in Eger ) was a Hungarian church historian .
Life
After studying, he turned to theology . He became titular abbot of the former Igriș monastery , then a canon and finally the great propst in Eger. Later he was also appointed Prefect of Episcopal Studies. He died on February 1, 1792 in Eger, at the age of 89.
In his writings he dealt with (church) history .
