Michael Diel

Michael Diel (born November 25, 1980 in Bochum ) is a German actor and writer . As an author, he is known as the author of several science fiction novels from the BattleTech universe.

Life

After attending school in Bochum and doing military service in Münster , Diel studied computer science at the University of Dortmund , where he graduated with a master's degree. He then worked as a manager of IT projects for eight years . Even while he was still at school he was enthusiastic about the books from the BattleTech universe, starting with The Mercenary Star by William H. Keith, Jr. From 2004 onwards, three BattleTech novels by Diel appeared, beginning with Madness and Method .

Diel has been working in Canada since 2017 . There he also completed an acting training at the Vancouver Film School and the Vancouver Theatresports Improv Comedy Institute . From 2015 he appeared in several German reality TV series, namely Suspected Cases , The Trovatos - Detectives uncover , On the patrol and in Die Ruhrpottwache . So far, he has appeared on Canadian television in the miniseries The Society (2018) and in three episodes in the series Cops in Cars (2019), where he also appears as a producer and screenwriter.
