Michael Dose (born March 10, 1945 in Scharnebeck ) is a Hamburg SPD politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Michael Dose grew up in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg and entered the public service in 1962. There he trained as a government inspector and from 1969 worked at the Food and Agriculture Authority . He studied then on teaching and began his teaching career from 1979. Later he served as rector of active elementary school Prassekstraße (Kirchdorf / Wilhelmsburg).

In addition to his parliamentary work, Dose is second chairman of Rathauskicker and a member of the ver.di union .

politics

Dose has been an SPD member since 1974 and was elected to the board of the SPD district Ochsenwerder / Moorfleet . From 1983 to 1991 he was a member of the local committee Vier- und Marschlande.

From 1991 to 2004 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament and was the specialist spokesman for his party for transport and agriculture. In parliament he sat during the 17th electoral term for his parliamentary group, among other things, in the submissions committee, the building and transport committee and the environment committee. He was also on the Sports Committee and the Committee on the Situation and Rights of Foreigners in other terms.

In the 2008 election, Michael can was in the District Assembly Harburg chosen, where he has since specialized spokesman for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport.
