Michael Fiedrowicz

Michael Fiedrowicz (born December 27, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German Catholic church historian and professor of church history, patrology and Christian archeology at the Trier Theological Faculty .

Life

He studied Catholic theology , philosophy and classical philology in Berlin, Paderborn and Rome , where he worked in 1993 at the Lateran University with the work The Church of Gregory the Great. An examination of his exegetical and homiletic works was awarded a doctorate. After working in 1997 in Bochum with the work Psalmus vox totius Christi. Studies on Augustine's "Enarrationes in psalmos" habilitation had been, he became in 1997 a lecturer of Ancient Church History / Patristics at the University of Bochum and also a lecturer at the Free University of Berlin . He researches apologetics, the foundations and methods of patristic theology and the reception of the Church Fathers.
