Michael Funk (politician)

Johann Michael Funk (born June 26, 1780 in Altheim ; † July 7, 1858 ibid) was a Hessian master tailor and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Michael Funk was the son of the farmer Johann Nikolaus Funk (in official documents Johann Nikolaus Funk II ) and his wife Anne Katharine, née Zimmermann. Funk, who was of Protestant faith, was a master tailor in Altheim and married Anna Margaretha née Reutter.

From 1850 to 1850 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 14 / Babenhausen .
