Justus Walther

Justus Walther (also Walter ) (born July 18, 1807 in Ober-Ramstadt ; † February 10, 1858 in Babenhausen ) was a Hessian economist and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Justus Walther was the son of master miller Heinrich Walther and his wife Elisabetha, née Gauß. Walther, who was a Protestant, was an economist in Babenhausen and married there on June 19, 1833 Katharina, born Horn, widowed Ranis (1805–1875).

From 1849 to 1850, after the March Revolution, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 12 / Babenhausen .
