Michael Hagspihl (* 1962) is a managing director of Telekom Deutschland GmbH . Since March 2015, he has been head of the company's largest management division, Private Customers. This also includes DT Privatkunden-Vertrieb GmbH with the Telekom Shops and the Telekom secondary brand congstar .

Hagspihl was u. a. significantly involved in the introduction of the first Apple iPhone and the first Google G1 smartphone in Germany.

Career

Hagspihl holds a degree in economics from the University of Münster and a Master of Business Administration from the ESSEC Business School . After completing his studies, Hagspihl worked as Sales Director at Philips Consumer Communication and in various marketing positions at Bosch, Siemens and Miele.

Michael Hagspihl began his professional career at T-Mobile in 2000 and took on the development of partner management for the T-Motion mobile portal in Germany and other European subsidiaries. He then introduced the open Internet for mobile devices with the web'n'walk brand.

He then headed Global Strategic Partnerships as Senior Vice President . Among other things, he promoted the strengthening and further development of strategic partnerships with key players in the industry, thereby consolidating Telekom's position as a premium provider in the telecommunications sector . From 2009 to 2011, Hagspihl headed Terminal Management at Deutsche Telekom . In this role he was responsible for the end device strategy as well as the portfolio and product management of all Telekom national companies. From October 2012 to March 2015, as Marketing Director, he was responsible for sales in the private, business and wholesale markets , which also include the value-added services and wholesale centers as well as the second brand congstar. Since March 2015 he has been responsible for the entire residential customer segment at Telekom Deutschland.
