Michael Heck (basketball player)

Michael Heck (born April 1,  1971 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German basketball player .

career

Heck played for BG Ludwigsburg in the basketball league in the early 1990s , and after a detour to SV 03 Tübingen , he returned to Ludwigsburg in 1993. With the team, the 1.93-meter-tall winger also gained experience in the European Cup.

In 1996, Heck left the Ludwigsburg and was in the 1996/97 season for the USC Heidelberg in the 2nd basketball league  on the field, before he went back to Ludwigsburg in 1997, the team now played in the second division.

From 1998 to 2000 Heck strengthened BG Karlsruhe  in the second division, in 2000 he went to TSV Crailsheim and rose to the second division with Hohenlohern in spring 2001. He first played in Crailsheim until 2002, then again for BG Karlsruhe at the start of the 2002/03 season, but moved back to Crailsheim during the season. His second term in Crailsheim lasted until December 2005, when he left the second division and moved to the regional division Schwenningen . He stayed there until 2008 and worked as a player-coach from the 2006/07 season.

After a year with the regional league team MTV Stuttgart (2008/09), he went to Crailsheim again for the 2009/10 season and from then on played for the club's second men's team for years. In December 2015 there was a separation. In 2016, Heck went to TSG Schwäbisch Hall (2nd regional league) after briefly with TSV Kupferzell.

In addition to his stations as a player (partly player- coach ), Heck, who works full-time as a milling cutter , also worked as a coach, including in the youth field. At the basketball association of Baden-Württemberg he took over the office of district coach.
