Michael Heiks

Michael Heiks (born August 31, 1954 in Halberstadt ) is a German journalist and film producer .

Life

Michael Heiks studied political science, journalism, history and economics at the University of Münster and received his doctorate there in 1982 with a thesis on the WDR radio program "Das Morgenmagazin".

After several professional positions in public broadcasting (editor at WDR , main speaker, head of television and finally director at NDR in Schleswig-Holstein since 1988 ), he switched to private radio NRW in 1993 as program director .

Finally he went into business for himself as a film and television producer:

From 2002 to 2007 Heiks was managing partner with Sabine Christiansen at TV 21 in Berlin, which produced the TV show Sabine Christiansen .

Since 1997 Heiks has been a managing partner of TV Plus in Hanover, which u. a. for the NDR the game and lottery prize show Bingo! produced.
