Michael Hertwig (born November 17, 1960 ) is a former German soccer player and coach .
Career
player
With Michael Hertwig as a defender , Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich signed the German amateur champions from Offenburg FV for the 1984/85 season . Since Hertwig was not used in this season, he moved during the winter break within the division to Karlsruher SC , for which he was on February 2, 1985 (18th matchday), with the start of the second half, in the 3-0 defeat at SV Waldhof Mannheim made its debut. After ten games for the sports club, he joined the second division tennis Borussia Berlin in the following season , where he also remained without scoring. Nevertheless, he was able to assert himself here as a regular player and played 25 games for Berlin by the end of the season. He gave his last game in the professional field on May 3, 1986 (36th matchday) in the 0-1 home defeat against KSV Hessen Kassel .
Trainer
From 1991 to 1994 he coached the South Baden regional division FV Zell-Weierbach. From 2004 to 2007 he was coach of the women's team of the second division club SC Sand . From the 2010/11 to 2013/14 season he coached the first team of the southern Baden sports club SV Oberkirch , which he had to leave before the end of the season.
