Michael Huber (lawyer)

Michael Huber (* 1949 ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

After studying law (1969–1974) at the University of Regensburg , he was a judge at the Viechtach district court from 1976 and then switched to the Deggendorf public prosecutor's office . From August 1979 he worked as a judge at the Freyung District Court and then at the Passau Regional Court . From 1985 to 1988 he was a research assistant at the Federal Court of Justice . He then returned to the Passau Regional Court as a judge until he was appointed Vice President of the Deggendorf Regional Court in January 1998 . After many years as a lecturer at the University of Passau , he was appointed honorary professor for civil law and civil procedure law in March 1997 . From 2004 to 2016 he was President of the Passau Regional Court.
