Michael Hui
Michael HUI Koon-man ( Chinese 許冠文 / 许冠文 , Pinyin Xǔ Guànwén , Jyutping Heoi 2 Gun 3 man 4 , Cantonese Hui Koon-man ; born September 3, 1942 in Guangzhou , China ) is a Chinese director , screenwriter , comedian and actor .
Together with his brothers Sam Hui and Ricky Hui , he formed a comedian troupe in the style of the American Marx Brothers .

Michael Hui graduated from La Salle University and received a degree in sociology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He began his early career as an announcer at TVB, where he moderated quiz shows, which made him popular. Then he started on television with the "Hui Brothers Show". He also made a name for himself in films: in 1972 he played his first role in "The Great Regime" (aka The Warlord). In 1974 he founded his film company "Hui Film Company" with his brothers Ricky and Sam. In the early 1980s, the three brothers officially separated as a trio, but occasionally performed together. The brothers' films were released on video in Germany as the "Mr.Boo" series.

Hui is married with two children, three brothers - Stanley Hui, Ricky Hui , Sam Hui - and one sister - Judy Hui.
