Michael Kosgey Rotich

Michael Kosgey Rotich (also Michael Kosgei Rotich or Mike Rotich ; born October 26, 1982 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who has specialized in the marathon .

In 2002, on his debut in 2:08:59 h, he was second in the Milan Marathon , at the same time as the winner Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot .

2003 was his most successful year when he first won the Paris Half Marathon and a month later the Paris Marathon with personal bests of 1:01:30 h and 2:06:32 h. At the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis , he was eighth.

In 2004 he finished fifth in the Paris half marathon and second in the Rotterdam marathon , in 2005 seventh in the Berlin marathon and fourth in Milan. At the Paris Marathon 2006 he came in 20th place.
