Michael Kroninger (born December 12, 1966 in Herzogenaurach ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

From the E-youth on, Kroninger played at ASV Herzogenaurach , after a short guest appearance at TSV Schlüsselfeld, where he was trained by his father, he was hired at 1. FC Nürnberg . From Nuremberg it went to the Kickers Offenbach . With the Kickers he played 30 times in the 2nd Bundesliga , in the games he scored eight goals. After Dieter Müller , who scored ten goals, he was the top scorer of his team. Since Offenbach's license was withdrawn, Kroninger had to compete in the Hessen League the next year. After a year in the Hessenliga, FC Schalke 04 secured the services of the striker. When S04 he was in the 1990/91 season , alongside Jens Lehmann , Günter Schlipper and Alexander Borodjuk significantly involved in the 2. Bundesliga on winning the championship, so he made the jump to the Gelsenkirchen company in the Bundesliga . In the following year he played five games and then left Schalke and moved to TSV 1860 Munich , later to TSV Vestenbergsgreuth . He then played for nine years at TSV Neustadt / Aisch and three years at SV Gutenstetten.
