Career

Michael Marx is currently starting for TV Schweinfurt-Oberndorf. He moved from his hometown club TV Vaihingen / Enz to Schweinfurt for the 2016 field season. The attacker, who was outstanding in his youth, switched to the defensive position in the course of his very successful career. At the club level, Michael Marx plays in all positions.

He ended his national team career by winning the 2015 World Cup in Cordoba (Argentina). He was one of the most experienced players in Olaf Neuenfeld's squad and went through all national teams. He celebrated his greatest successes in 2011, 2013 and 2015 when he became world champion (Austria) with the German national team in 2011 , World Games winner (Colombia) in 2013 and world champion (Argentina) in 2015 .

In the 1st Bundesliga South he played from 2004 to 2006 for what was then the "talent factory" of SpVgg Weil der Stadt and was able to draw attention to himself on the national stage for the first time. However, when he switched back to his hometown club, TV Vaihingen / Enz, in 2006, he had a really big hit and in 2008 won the German championship title in the hall and on the field. Further DM titles followed in the hall in 2011 and 2012. In 2009 and 2012, a perfect indoor season was concluded with the European Cup title. From 2012 to 2013 Marx made a "short excursion" to the neighborhood rival TV Stuttgart-Stammheim , with which he was also able to qualify for the final round of the 2013 German Championship (Halle). In addition, he led TV Stuttgart-Stammheim back to the 1st Bundesliga South during the field season. In the indoor season 2013/14, Marx returned to his old place of work and started again for TV Vaihingen / Enz. In the 2016 field, Michael Marx unexpectedly moved to Schweinfurt.
