Michael Mundhenk

Michael Mundhenk (* 1954 in Berlin ) is a German translator .

Life

Michael Mundhenk studied architecture, Romance languages ​​and English; with a DAAD scholarship, he continued his English studies in Vancouver , which he completed with a master's degree. He then worked for almost twenty years as a lecturer in English and American language and literature at colleges in British Columbia . Now he lives in Freiburg im Breisgau . He translated u. a. Works by Margaret Atwood , Allen Ginsberg , Barry Lopez , Gertrude Stein , Rebecca Solnit and Agatha Christie .

He is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ.
