Michael Noetzel

Michael Noetzel (born December 19, 1925 in Berlin ; † October 23, 2003 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Michael Noetzel passed his Abitur and was drafted into the Navy in 1943 by the Wehrmacht . He was then taken prisoner of war .

After the Second World War , Noetzel studied economics at the University of Berlin and at the Berlin Business School . In 1949 he laid the diploma as an economist and received his doctorate in 1952 for Dr. rer. pole. Since then he has worked at AOK Berlin in various functions, most recently as Managing Director of AOK Berlin.

In 1955 Noetzel joined the SPD. In the Berlin election in 1958 , he was elected to the district assembly in the Wilmersdorf district. Three years later he moved to the Berlin House of Representatives , since Günter Klein was a member of the Bundestag. In 1971 Noetzel left parliament.
