Michael Schober

Michael Schober (* 1966 in Bayreuth ) is a German illustrator and author . He became known for illustrating various children's books.

Schober studied communication design at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences and was awarded a prize for illustration during his studies. After graduating in 1990, he started working as a freelance illustrator and painter. Since then, over 100 books for children and young people have been created, among others together with authors such as Uli Brée , Frauke Nahrgang , Annelies Schwarz and Christa Zeuch . He produced two cartoons for the ZDF children's program .

He has been working as a photographer since 2013 .
