Michael Schweizer

Michael Schweizer (born July 5, 1991 in Wangen im Allgäu ) is a German cyclocross and road cyclist .

Michael Schweizer became German cyclocross champion in the youth class at the beginning of 2007. A year later he was able to finish 5th in the junior class and at the Cyclocross World Championships in Treviso in 2008 he came in 28th. At the beginning of 2009 he became German champion in junior cyclocross in Strullendorf, Bavaria . He then moved to the Stevens Racing Team in Hamburg, which he still belongs to today. In the 2010/2011 season he finished 9th in the U23 class at the European Championships in Frankfurt am Main , was 16th in the World Cup in Heusden-Zolder and 4th in the German Championships in Lorsch . In the 2011/2012 season he was able to take 14th place at the European Championships in Lucca and was German U23 champion in Kleinmachnow, Brandenburg .
