Michael Stahl-David (born October 28, 1982 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor , best known for the roles of Sean Donnelly in the TV series The Black Donnellys and Rob Hawkins in the movie Cloverfield .

Life

Michael Stahl-David is the older brother of Eric Stahl-David and R. Andrew Stahl-David and the son of a doctor . He graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 2001 . He played theater and later graduated from Columbia College in Chicago. Prior to his acting career, Stahl-David was known as a graffiti artist.

Stahl-David began his acting career in 2001 with the small role of Rossetti in the film New Port South . In 2003 he played the role of Craig in the movie Uncle Nino . His acting in TV series only began in 2007. Here he had a guest appearance in an episode of Criminal Intent . A little later he played the role of Sean Donnelly in The Black Donnellys . In Cloverfield he played the role of Rob Hawkins. This was followed by other guest appearances in Numbers as Josh Skinner and in the series Kings as Paul Ash. In 2010 he starred in the new ABC series My Generation , in which he played Steven Foster. In 2017 he starred as Robert Kennedy in Rob Reiner's historical drama LBJ.

Stahl-David has played DEA agent Chris Feistl in the series Narcos since 2017 .
