Michael Wheeler (athlete)
Michael Wheeler ( Michael Keith Valentine "Mike" Wheeler ; born February 14, 1935 in Watford ; † January 15, 2020 ) was a British sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he reached the quarter-finals over 400 m . In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he won the bronze medal with the British team in the cast John Salisbury , Wheeler, Peter Higgins and Derek Johnson .
In 1956 he became British champion over 440 yards .
