Michael White (born June 6, 1989 ) is a Scottish football player in the position of goalkeeper . Since 2018 he has played for Irvine Meadow XI FC in the SJFA West Region Premiership in Scottish amateur football.

Career

White began his career in the youth teams at Hamilton Academical . After a few years he joined the U-19 team of the club and in 2006 even made it into the squad of the fighting team. White made his debut in Scotland's second division, the Scottish Football League First Division , on September 30, 2006 in a 1-1 draw against Queen of the South when he made it 1-0 for striker and goalscorer Richard Offiong in the 71st minute was substituted on. In 2007 he moved from Hamilton Academical to Dundee FC , where he was able to celebrate his second appearance in the Scottish Football League First Division, this time in another 1-1 draw. Opponent in this game was his previous club, Hamilton Academical. White played 90 minutes in this match. From Dundee FC it went again a year later for the summer break of 2008 to FC Dumbarton . In October 2008, White was awarded to Alloa Athletic . In the summer of 2009 he returned to Dumbarton, where he was initially number two behind Jan Vojáček , before he was able to oust him in the second half of the 2009/10 season . After Stephen Grindlay was signed in the summer of 2010, he moved back into the second tier. In the summer of 2011 he left the club and moved within the league to promoted FC Arbroath . There he came as a deputy to Darren Hill only one assignment.

In summer 2012 he switched to Scottish amateur football. There he played for a total of five years for FC Petershill and FC Arthurlie before he joined FC Queen's Park in 2017 . There he was number two behind Willie Muir at the beginning of the 2017/18 season , and was able to replace him as a regular goalkeeper during the season. At the end of the season he had to relegate his team. He joined the amateur club Irvine Meadow XI FC .
