Michael Zwanzger

Michael Zwanzger (* 1977 ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

After studying law (1996–2001) with additional business studies at the University of Bayreuth , he was a lecturer in German law in the Law with German course at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2002 . After the first state examination in 2001, he was assistant at the chair for civil law and legal history at the University of Bayreuth ( Diethelm Klippel ) from 2008 to 2011 . From 2001 to 2002 he completed a master's degree at the University of Birmingham . After completing his legal clerkship (2005–2008) in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the second state examination in 2008, he was from 2011 to 2015Academic councilor at the University of Bayreuth, entrusted with the tasks of the teaching professorship in civil law. After his doctorate in 2013 and his habilitation in 2014 ( license to teach the subjects of civil law, German and European legal history, civil procedural law), he represented the chair for civil law, legal history and European legal harmonization at the University of Leipzig from 2014 to 2015 . Since 2015 he has been professor for civil law, legal history and European legal harmonization in Leipzig .
