activities

Basel

The Swiss Chamber Concerts Basel are the successors to Kammerkunst Basel, which was founded in 1953 and has been directed by Felix Renggli since 1998. The concerts take place in the Great Hall of the Basel Music Academy , in the Gare du Nord and in various churches and venues in the city of Basel.

Geneva

The Swiss Chamber Concerts in Geneva started their activities in 1999. They are directed by Daniel Haefliger. The concerts will take place in the Grande Salle du Conservatoire de Genève, in Studio Ansermet and in various other locations in the city. The annual Swiss Chamber Academy has been held in Geneva since 2015, which, like the Swiss Chambers Camerata, was launched by Daniel Haefliger. Hildegard Stauder is the founding president of the Geneva-based SCC Association, which was founded in 2010.

Lugano

The Swiss Chamber Concerts Lugano, whose concerts take place in the Aula Magna of the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, are the successor to the concert series of the Swiss Chambers Concerts, which was previously held in the Teatro Sociale Bellinzona. Daniel Haefliger has been in charge of the organization since 2012.

Zurich

The Swiss Chamber Concerts Zurich are the direct successor to the concert cycle of the "Zurich Chamber Musicians" founded by Brenton Langbein in 1960. In 1992, Jürg Dähler took over the direction of the Zurich Chamber Musicians and has since been responsible for the Zurich concert cycle. The concerts take place in the Kleiner Tonhallesaal, in the St. Peter Church in Zurich and in various other churches, guild houses and event locations in the city of Zurich. Since 2015, co-productions have been carried out with the Brunegg Castle Whitsun Festival. “Inside the Insight” is the private concert series of the Zurich SCC-Förderverein, which has been chaired by Ulrike Kolb since 2015 and was launched in 2006 by Barbara Altwegg.

Swiss Chamber Soloists

Swiss Chamber Soloists is the chamber ensemble of the concert cycle, which was founded in 1999 and is directed by the three artistic directors of the Swiss Chamber Concerts.
