Michael von Prollius (* 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German economic historian , management consultant and publicist .

Life

Von Prollius studied business administration ( Diplom-Kaufmann ) and history (MA) at the University of Bayreuth and the Free University of Berlin . In 2001 he was with Heinrich Volkmann at the Free University of Berlin with the dissertation The Economic System of the National Socialists 1933-1939. Control through emergent organization and political processes to the Dr. phil. PhD. He then worked as a management consultant and economic policy advisor.

He is head of the scientific circle at the Friedrich A. von Hayek Society and was a lecturer in economic history at the Free University of Berlin. He is a senior expert at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Freedom. Together with the publicist Norbert F. Tofall , he founded the Liberal Private Seminar in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich August von Hayek . He is also an associated scientist at the Liberal Institute in Zurich. Von Prollius is the author of several scientific books and articles at, among others, peculiarly free , Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , Neue Zürcher Zeitung , Cicero Online and wallstreet: online .

He is the founder of the Internet platform “Forum Ordnungspolitik ”, which he further developed into the “Forum Freie Gesellschaft” in 2015 and which contains its own series of books.

Von Prollius is married and lives with his family in Berlin .
