Michaela Saba

Michaela Saba (born July 5, 1990 in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Michaela Saba was born as the daughter of an architect. She grew up in Vienna , did figure skating and rhythmic gymnastics and took part in state championships. After graduating from high school , she began studying business administration , and from 2012 she studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. She received role lessons from Regina Fritsch , Grazyna Dylag, Alexandra Henkel , Dietmar König and Florian Teichtmeister, among others . During her acting studies, which she completed in 2016, she played at the Vienna Volkstheater, among othersIn the German-language premiere of God Waits at the Station by Maya Arad, the role of the Palestinian nurse Amal and participated in love and information at the academy theater.

In November 2016 she premiered in the Austrian premiere of Geächtet by Ayad Akhtar , directed by Tina Lanik, at the Burgtheater in Vienna . In 2017 she was seen as Julia Gawrilenko in the ORF series Schnell Determined in the episodes Traian Voronin and Simon Gehbauer . In the Tatort episode Schock by Rupert Henning , she played alongside Aaron Karl as medical student David Frank, his girlfriend Amina Barka. In 2019 she played in the Rosamunde Pilcher film adaptation of Pralines for Breakfast based on the short story The hill on the stone with Max Engelke as Thomas Fritzgerald, his girlfriend Paula Irving.

For the Morocco episode of the ZDF series Das Traumschiff , she played the role of Princess Lilani, daughter of an African tribal prince, alongside Tommy Schlesser as fitness trainer Lennart Albers.
