Alexandra Henkel (born September 6, 1971 in Erlangen ) is a German actress who has been a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble since 2001 .

Alexandra Henkel completed her acting training at the Hanover University of Music and Theater from 1990 to 1994 . Since the early 1990s she has appeared in various television productions and has appeared in series such as Doppelter Einsatz and Tatort , among others . She was best known for the main role of Lisa Busch , which she played in the first 160 episodes of the ARD series Marienhof for about two years. The role was then continued by Iris Junik and later by Isabella Huebner .

In addition to her work for television, Henkel is an accomplished theater actress. From 1994 to 2001 she played at the Thalia Theater . Since the 2001/2002 season she has been part of the ensemble of the Vienna Burgtheater . She worked a lot with the director Jürgen Flimm , who brought her straight from drama school to the Thalia Theater, including in productions by Drei Schwestern , Antigone or as the air spirit Philidel in King Arthur .

In 1994 Henkel was voted the best young actress by the magazine Theater heute , and in 1995 she received the Boy Gobert Prize , a prize for young actors on Hamburg theaters.

Alexandra Henkel is married to her Burgtheater colleague Dietmar König , whom she met at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. The couple have two sons and a daughter.
