Michail Andrejewitsch Glusski ( Russian Михаил Андреевич Глузский ; born November 21, 1918 in Kiev , Ukraine; † June 15, 2001 in Moscow ) was a Russian actor, people's artist of the USSR and winner of the Nika Film Prize.

Life

Origin and family

His father, Andrei Michailowitsch Gmyrjow , comes from a peasant family, but became a poet and journalist. In the middle of 1917 he moved from what was then Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg) to Kiev , where he built a house. Glusski's mother was called Efrosinja Kondratewna Glusskina. The wife Ekaterina Pawlowna Petegusowa was a graduate and head of the Russian Academy of Theater Arts and the longest-serving research assistant at the State Institute for Art History (formerly Institute for Art History). They have two children - Andrej and Maria - and grandchildren Alexander, Michail and Maria, Xenia, Elisabeta.

Career

Michail Glusski finished acting school in 1940 in the studios of " Mosfilm ". He then served in the Soviet Army and took part in World War II . He starred in about a hundred films, such as B. "Girl with character" ( Девушка с характером ) or "Silent Don " ( Тихий Дон ). He also worked actively on radio and television. With his voice he has dubbed actors such as Louis de Funès and Eduardo De Filippo in foreign films . From 1946 to 1995 Gluski was a film and theater actor. Since 1994 he has given theater performances in the "School of Modern Play " ( Школа современной пьесы ).

Gluski was secretary of the "Union of Film Men of the USSR", headed the commission of veterans of this alliance and the "Moscow city commission of cultural sponsorship of the armed forces of the USSR". His last public work was leading the commission of cinema veterans.

He was a professor at the Gerasimov Institute for Cinematography . From 1987 to 1998 he led two courses in the acting department of the institute and created two courses.
