Michal Bartosch (born January 20, 1985 in Opava , Czechoslovakia ) is a German ice hockey player with Czech roots who has been under contract with EHC Bayreuth since December 2009 .

Career

Michal Bartosch began his career in the junior teams of 1. EV Weiden before making his debut for Weiden's men's team in the 2. Bundesliga ice hockey in the 2003/04 season . In the following season, Bartosch established himself within the team and, after Weiden's relegation to the ice hockey league, was committed by the Frankfurt Lions , who used him with a sponsorship license at EHC Freiburg . During the season Bartosch completed his first two DEL games, but otherwise played in Freiburg. At the end of the 2005/06 season , the EHC rose from the league and Bartosch developed in the following league season to a high performer within the team.

In the summer of 2007 he was hired by the EHC Wolfsburg and given a sponsorship license for the ETC Crimmitschau . Due to his good performance, however, he secured a regular place in the DEL squad, so that he completed 52 of 56 possible DEL games and was only used seven times in the 2nd Bundesliga. On December 21, 2007 he scored his first DEL goal against Adler Mannheim . After the end of the season, however, he did not get a new contract offer from the "Grizzly Adams" and decided to switch to the second division promoted Dresdner Eislöwen . For the Eislöwen he was able to achieve 17 scorer points in 45 second division games, but did not get a new contract after the season. He then tried to get a contract through training camps at various clubs in the second and third division and finally got a trial contract with the EHF Passau Black Hawks shortly before the start of the season . This expired in November 2009 and Bartosch subsequently trained with EV Weiden. In December 2009 he was signed by the Bayreuth Tigers, for whom he has since played in the Bayernliga / Oberliga.
