Michal Svajlen (born April 12, 1989 in Zurich ) is a Swiss handball player who is mostly used on the left side of the back . His father is the former Slovak national handball goalkeeper Ľubomír Švajlen . Michal Svajlen has both nationalities.

The 1.96 m tall and 98 kg heavy right-handed player began playing handball in his hometown at GC Amicitia Zurich . After his first appearances in the 2007/08 season, he was a permanent member of the NLA team from 2008 and won the championship and the cup in his first season. Internationally, he reached the semi-finals of the 2008/09 European Cup Winners' Cup , the group stage of the EHF Champions League 2009/10 and the round of 16 in the 2010/11 EHF Cup with Amicitia . In November 2011 he switched to Pfadi Winterthur (back number 24). There he took part in the EHF Cup and the EHF Europe Cup .

In the Swiss national team , Svajlen made his debut on November 29, 2008 against Bosnia and Herzegovina and so far has played 83 international matches , in which he scored 104 goals. (As of January 5, 2020)
