Michel De Wolf (born January 19, 1958 in Nivelles ) is a former Belgian football player and later coach .

Player career

De Wolf began his career in 1976 at RWD Molenbeek . In 1983 he moved to KAA Gent , where he won the Belgian Cup in 1984. After five years in Ghent , he went to KV in Kortrijk in 1988 . From 1990 to 1994 he was under contract with RSC Anderlecht . With the Violets he was able to celebrate his first championship title (1991) and two more followed. He also won the Belgian Supercup twice . In the 1994/1995 season he tried his luck in France and signed with Olympique Marseille . He then ended his career.

Internationally, he played 42 times for Belgium. He took part in the 1984 European Championship in France (out in the group phase), the 1986 World Cup in Mexico (fourth place), the 1990 World Cup in Italy (out in the second round) and the 1994 World Cup in the USA (out in the second round).
