Michel Matschoss

Michel Matschoss (born April 1, 1943 ) is a German game designer .

He developed together with Alex Randolph , the parlor game Sagaland that 1982 game of the year was. During the development phase of the game, the two authors lived temporarily on the Sababurg so that the project to develop a fairy tale game could be influenced by the environment. Sagaland is the only game published by Matschoss.

After training as a marketing specialist, Michel Matschoss became manager for marketing at 3M- Verlag. Until June 2009, Matschoss was managing director of the games publisher Winning Moves in Düsseldorf. In 2014, Matschoss and Michael Tschiggerl founded the Smart Cookie Games UG, an agency that deals in rights and licenses for board games and represents game designers.
